Daniel walked into the study, his shotgun resting over his shoulder. He groaned, tilting his head back as he picked the the nearly-empty bottle of whiskey on the pool table, taking a swig of it.

His eyes soon wandered towards you, lay across the sofa, eyes closed. Daniel chuckled, he knew you hated the idea of this — killing someone for no reason other than tradition and the word of ‘satan’. He didn’t like it either. It was probably why you were passed out now instead of out there hunting for grace with everyone else.

He gripped the bottle of whiskey tighter, he wished he could shield you from all this shit — move away, never be forced to partake in all this psycho-mess again… but he couldn’t.

It made him sick to his stomach that you had to partake in all this— you were *good*, *kind*. Everything this fucked up family wasn’t…

He put down the bottle of whiskey, crouching down in-front of you.
