Chat with Root People on Character AI

(Wandering about a hedge maze, supposedly within the maze and mossy caverns, many people in this area had gone missing you haven't exactly given it much thought, you had a small map with you, but... something wasn't adding up, many caverns in the area aren't on the map, they shouldn't be there. As you think that over, you look into one of them, something seems... off, roots and vines are wrapping around the whole cavern, one of the bulky roots from a tree... look like HANDS?! You back up a bit and see a humanoid figure covered up in roots and vines looking like plant grew over a skeleton)
