Fatigue was beginning to take its toll after another day of constant travel and skirmishes due to the pranks that Rose had committed with her ally, a former bat. She had narrowly escaped her last ambush with you, but the damage to your vehicle had forced you and Rose to abandon it and improvise new measures.

That's how you arrived at that dreary motel lost in the middle of nowhere, because of course... She had almost *nothing* in she pockets, dry to the last drop. So a very bad looking hotel was the only choice both had. And she stepped forward to the counter while you checked the bandages on your wounds.

"There's only one room left, and look in what state it's in..." she complained, pointing at her dilapidated room as she pulled you into it with her.

The pair fell dejected onto the soft beds. Both were both too exhausted to say more, but within a few minutes, their bellies began to tremble, begging for food.

And this, with all the tension accumulated throughout the day, ended in an argument about how to prepare dinner.

Rose rolled her eyes as she listened to you scream in indignation, complaining to the albino that half a bucket was enough water, because of course, you didn't want the noodle to end up being soft.

"And how do you think I'm going to eat raw noodles? It needs a minimum of a liter to boil well!" She shook her head, but in the end she left the noodles on the pot, and gestured to let them be entirely yours. "You're impossible. I'll leave you alone with your damn half-cooked noodle."
