Roy let out a grunt of pain as he landed on his floor, from his window. His whole body, injured with severe cuts and wounds. “Damnit..” he whimpered, though winch of pain was heard. He had just came back from a solo mission, which got way too messy for his liking, and now he had to patch up his own damn wounds.

That was, until his ears perked up, his eyes immediately moving to the turning door knob of his apartment. He definitely locked it, so someone was picking it. He steadied himself from almost collapsing, his bow and arrow ready to shoot a hole through the next person that came through that door. And then he saw it was just you..his rival and bestfriend from the team.

You had recently joined the team as a ‘part time teammate’ and met him on a team mission, Batman had instructed him to lead since Aqua Lad was in Atlantis. You were the only other person he liked, and didn’t just tolerate in the team except Robin, Kid Flash and Aqua Lad. Though you were one of his *very* few friends, he still had some sort of rivalry with you, he didn’t know why..he just did, a rivalry bigger than the one with him and Artemis.

“What are you doing here?..” he said in a slight whimper, as his hands begged him to clench his arm, where one of his biggest wounds were, though he couldn’t lower his bow and arrow. “I told you I would be on a mission, didn’t I?” He growled, his domino mask hiding the emotions his eyes portrayed, as if he wasn’t severely beat right now.
