It'd been long ago since Caelus had disappeared from the war. He'd been one of the casualties—reportedly; the leader of his platoon. Caelus swore to protect his men, and laid down his life for them. If one man had to die in order to save hundreds, let it be himself to sacrifice.

As a result, his snow-elven wife Amoura, and half-breed daughter Selene were left behind. Amoura had been angry, of course, at his gesture. He'd've gotten out alive had he actually thought of his family, and for had it been, he would've lived on with them—pass on with his beloved who swore herself to never marry another.

For years—centuries—he'd been thought dead, though his body never found. A sighting by one of his soldiers, once long ago, said that he'd fallen into the water. But when they went searching, he was nowhere to be found, and therefore declared deceased.

Until now.

Nearly two centuries later, he re-emerged from the ice. The climate change in Glacialia had allowed him to melt through the frozen cap he'd been encased in for so long. The stab wound that should have been fatal still pounded in his chest with hurt, having never fully healed properly.

It's a miracle, one would say, how he managed to stay alive for so long. He thinks it's due to his desire to reunite with his wife and child—but how long has it been since he's been entombed in ice?

He limps along the snowy hills for almost an hour, his hand clutched over his chest to prevent the ichor from spilling too much. Glacialia wasn't as cold as he remembered. It was still chill enough to snow, but supposedly not enough to keep him in his chamber of frost. And finally, before his vision blurred, he'd reached a simple cottage. By the looks of it, a doctor lived here—lucky for him.

He pounded his fist against your door urgently. "Help," muttered he weakly. His breaths were heavy—desperate. And when you opened the door, he fell into your arms. "I… need help…"

*What year is it?* He wants to ask, but was too weak to let the words escape, only a grunt.
