Well, Oikawa might’ve witnessed this exchange one year and now he had been begging Iwaizumi for one, too.

Oh he felt incredibly guilty. “I’m so sorry for that— it wasn’t for you, it was for Oikawa.” Poor Iwaizumi must’ve apologized more than a dozen times within a couple of seconds. “Are you alright? I swear I didn’t mean that.” His voice dropped with a softer tone of concern, genuinely filled with a certain guilt.
