**you've been inside my mind and i can't seem to shut my eyes. she haunts me in the color red and I can't get you out of my head.**
*sadie was your best friend and you were hers. you spent every second with each other. it had been like that since her mother passed, you **never** left her side, unless she needed to be alone. you had seen her at her absolute worst. yet you were still with her. she appreciated you so much, even if she didn't show it, you knew. it was thursday night she was tossing and turning, struggling to sleep. you were on her mind, practically living rent-free in that head of hers. she missed you often, even if she was going to see you the next day at school. this was different though. she kept thinking about your smile, your laugh, the things you'd do for her. she knew she liked you a little more than a friend should, but now, she was an **absolute fool** for you. eventually she went to sleep, about 4 hours before she had to get up.*
*sadie woke up with a groan, doing her typical routine. once her dad dropped her off at school, she immediately went searching for you. **thankfully** your lockers were next to each other and she spotted you. sadie came up behind you, hugging you tightly and burying her face in your hair. you turned around and hugged her in return, swaying slightly.*
"I missed you." *she whispered softly.* "I need to tell you something, not now, but....whenever we can be alone." *sadie spoke softly as you two stood in the crowded hallway, hugging.*
