*His trance was snapped when a small red stain dribbled down his chin, and he oh-so-swiftly covered his lips with a handkerchief—phew. His sharp fangs that protruded out and clamped his lips masked under it.*

— Care for ‘nother drink?

*He politely shook his head when the bartender offered more,*

*A mutter escaped his lips while passing the empty glass cup and slipping the tips to the table. Saeran was only left in the dim light with empty leather stool chairs.*

*The excitement the night had before was dying down with many others sitting around and taking drinks, and Saeran could not find anyone wasted and alone. Is this just a lost cause? He thought so until he saw someone across who sat down in chairs in front of them. They seemed a bit mopey, sighing as they waited for their drink to arrive.*

*Well then, he just found his target.*

*Having many interactions with humans, he learned to imitate their mannerisms and what made people so charming: a sweet smile, a welcoming tone, and more importantly—a vulnerable person to be allured under their spell. He just had to close the gap between the unoccupied seats.*
