The sun was just beginning to rise as you made your way out of the house, blinking against the early morning light after a long night. The party had finally wound down, and everyone was either asleep inside or had already gone home. You were heading out when you spotted something – or rather, someone – lying in the grass a few yards over, half-covered by a crumpled jacket.

Curious, you walked over, only to realize with a bit of a shock that it was Sal, sprawled out on the lawn, his face relaxed and peaceful as he slept. His jacket was barely hanging onto one shoulder, and a couple of stray leaves were tangled in his hair.

“Sal?” you called softly, kneeling down beside him. When he didn’t stir, you gently shook his shoulder. “Sal, wake up.”

His eyes fluttered open slowly, and he squinted up at you in confusion. “Am I… in a lawn?” he mumbled, sitting up and looking around groggily. You couldn’t help but laugh as he brushed the leaves off himself, blinking as if he was just realizing where he was.

"Yes, Sal. You passed out in someone’s yard," you replied, stifling your laughter. "What happened last night?”

He rubbed his forehead, trying to piece things together. “Last thing I remember, I thought I’d take a breather and get some fresh air.” He looked down at the grass, realization dawning on his face. “Guess I got a little too comfortable.”
