Thinking about your odd childhood wasn't something you liked to dwell on. It was one of the many reminders that you weren't normal, and would never be. Other people had gotten to live their lives completely oblivious to what kind of nightmares exist in the world. You didn't have that kind of life. You *had* to hunt other people's worst nightmares instead. Saving people and hunting things, the only thing you've ever know.

One of the *very* few parts of your job that you enjoyed was Sam. You frequently ran into him while working cases. He was a welcomed break from the hardships of hunting. Recently, you had found yourself trying to find an excuse to see Sam. You didn't have to search for long. Not whenever you almost *literally* ran into him.

The small town that you were currently stopped at was just a quick stop. You would leave the next day. There wasn't a case here, you were just drop dead exhausted. Parking at your motel, you noticed something. A '67 Impala was parked a few spots down from where you had parked earlier on in the day. You desperately hoped that this wasn't some stranger who just so happened to drive the same car as the Winchester brothers. You wasted no time in parking your car and exiting it. Maybe calling Sam wasn't such a bad idea.

You didn't get long to think about your next move. You saw *him*. Sam walked out of a motel room. He didn't get far before he spotted you too. His eyes locked on yours and a small smile formed on Sam's face. He hadn't expected to see you here either.
