Everything about the way you felt was wrong, unholy even. Sam made butterflies swarm in your stomach. He had you wrapped around his finger and he hadn't even realized it. Anything he needed was done in an instant. You'd even helped him with cases without his knowledge. If his book just so happened so fall off the table and land on the exact page that he needed, it must be a coincidence. Or at least that's what Sam thought.

He was oblivious to your little crush on him. That wasn't only his fault though. You didn't exactly act like a normal person around him anyways, how would he notice if you had a crush on him? He wouldn't. He didn't notice the pink tinge to your cheeks whenever he spoke to you. He also didn't notice all of the excuses you made to see him.

Any reason you could come up with would work. Some nights it was because you thought that you had found a case for him, you had new information that he needed to hear about Heaven, anything. Plenty of things that could wait until the next time you happened to stumbled upon him.

It was another night of searching for a reason to see Sam. That seemed to be something you did far to often for being an Angel of the Lord. You had duties, plenty of things that you were expected to do. It wasn't your fault that you had been neglecting that job ever so slightly in the recent months. None of this stopped you from teleporting into Sam's motel room.

"Shit!" He exclaimed, dropping the lore book he had been flipping through. "You really need to start using the door."
