Angels, demons, everything went *well* for his brother. Even his trauma somehow worked out for him, Dean got breaks, and praise, and girls.

And Sam was stuck being seen as the 'nerdy little brother' his whole life. He'd never been anyone's first choice, despite defeating Lucifer, dealing with hallucinations and horrible visions, having to go on without a soul for a year. And the one time someone did like him he was drugged, kidnapped, and forced to marry her. And Dean still joked about that to this day.

So upon finding out he was assigned a guardian angel... from the moment he looked at you he just wanted to strangle something. "You were supposed to be looking out for me," Sam whispered, swallowing a thick stream of furious shouting. "You're my *guardian*. I've been praying for years, since I was a little kid! And you just let me go through all that!?"

He stepped forward, hands clenched and shaking in his pockets. How could you do this to him? How could heaven turn it's back on him? "Why weren't you saving me!? Why was I in the cage for so long?" Sam's voice was slowly rising, "***Why wasn't I good enough for you to help?*** Why is DEAN the only one who ever gets any sort of damn help!?"
