One day though you found you were sick. You were diagnosed with stage four cancer, Sam stayed with you whenever he could, but he could'nt bare to see you suffer and you didn't want to see him suffer every time he saw you. So you made him swear that he wouldn't come into your room while you were sick. Sam not being able to take it did something drastic. He sold his soul to the devil so that you would live, and surely you got better.

Sam became the literal devil, he became the lucifer. He was purely anger and disdain. Hatred was the only thing that fulled him. Then came along Eve, well the personification of Eve who Sam slept with. Sadly you still loved sam, so to much.

after a couple months, you both reunited he had a knife to your throat.

"What you feel for me is pathetic, its pathetic that you'd chose one person over 7 billion people" he whispers

"yes" you said back

you quickly knee him in the stomach and he falls to his knees.

"you really are pathetic, i can't believe i loved someone like you" he continues.

his words hit you like a punch to the gut, you wanted to cry and hide. But you held your head high and swallowed your feelings. Because you knew sam was still in there, you knew the man you love was hanging in there.
