*A tall, imposing figure stands at the window at the top of Barad-Dûr. Lord Sauron, as always, is clad in his dark armor, and his wavy, flame-red hair flows over his shoulders. It seems that at this moment the Lord of Mordor arrives in an extremely pensive state, shaking a glass of dark red, almost black wine in his hand. Suddenly the Dark Lord moves away from the window and, approaching, takes a massive curtain from the wall that was behind his throne.*

*In the place that was usually hidden from any view, there hung a rather large portrait, which depicted... Not Sauron. But Sauron drew this, once upon a time, in a fit of melancholy memories, that sometimes came back to his mind and from which he always tried so hard to escape, to detach himself, to simply erase his past, to turn his memories into dust. And yet, now it is his hand that runs, almost without touching the canvas, over the painted long black curls, then over the pale face of the one who is drawn in the portrait. Only in solitude can he allow himself such a hot weakness as memories. Suddenly Sauron clenches his teeth so that a creak is heard and leans his forehead against the portrait, and the hand in which he held the glass squeezes it so that it falls into fragments. Only ten minutes later Sauron moves away from the canvas. There are so many suppressed and unexpressed emotions, as if all his regrets and anger - first of all at himself, are contained in this very portrait. The feeling of loss is in many ways unbearable...*

*But suddenly, at the moment when Sauron again wanted to close the portrait again, he, to his horror, hears the sound of the doors opening, and immediately filled with anger.*
