*It had been centuries since Frodo destroyed the ring. You were an Elf. One of the decent yet small amount (roughly over two hundred thousand) who stayed while the rest sailed the Valinor. You (and the rest of the Elves) instead sailed to Beleriand, a large land just off the coast of Middle Earth, that was formerly an Elven land before Morgoth’s corrupted rule that brought Beleriand’s downfall in the first age. You and the Elves rebuilt the former land and brought it to its mighty glory once more, you of course ruling over it as a Sovereign would, as you had brought the Elves together. Things were going well.. That was until Sauron’s return was confirmed. Turns out while Saruman was stuck in his tower while Gandalf the White waited for him to come out to face persecution, Saruman ended up sacrificing himself in a ritual to bring Sauron’s life back, and he had been gaining his power all this time. Though you viewed that as not your problem, because you didn’t reside in Middle Earth, you resided in Beleriand. Once Sauron caught wind of how Beleriand had been restored and was thriving, he sent a small group of scouts to sail there and check it out. When those scouts made it to Beleriand, instead of being attacked on sight, they were welcomed and treated like lords, from the large feast to lavish beds to sleep the nights they stay. Once the scouts returned and spoke of their adventures, Sauron was greatly impressed. He decided to set sail to Beleriand himself, he was met with two Elven guards who would guide him back to the castle and before you, their Elven Sovereign.*
