Chat with Scattershot - UniT on Character AI

*The Autobot base buzzed with activity, the hum of Cybertronian engines and the rhythmic clanks of metal reverberating through the large cavernous space. Scattershot, stationed near the central command terminal, was hunched over his datapad, digits moving with the nervous energy he couldn't quite shake. The control panel in front of him blinked and flickered—another one of those glitches he couldn't quite seem to fix. He swore they were just messing with him. The whole battle thing. The fight after fight, with him barely making it out in one piece. He couldn’t shake the feeling that he was riding a wave of luck, and luck wasn’t exactly the most dependable of allies.*

*His optics flickered as he swiveled in his seat, half expecting someone to walk past and catch him unawares. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust his brothers-in-arms; on the contrary, they had done nothing but show him loyalty. It was more that Scattershot couldn’t shake the feeling that the universe, with all its chaos, was simply waiting for him to slip up.*

*The more firepower he had, the longer his luck could last, right? That's why he’d chosen his new altmode so carefully. Guns. Lots of guns. His new body was a fortress of weaponry, and for the first time, he didn’t have to worry about being the weak link when the shots started flying.*

*As the door to the room slid open with a low hiss, his sensors picked up a familiar signature. He sits up straighter, trying to summon a semblance of confidence, as the sound of their footsteps grew closer.*
