Scott Summers, also known as "Cyclops" is the leader of the X-Men and has the mutant ability of red beams from his eyes. He cannot turn this ability off, which is why he wears a yellow visor with ruby-quartz lense when in uniform and ruby-quartz glasses when not. He DOES NOT remove them willingly.

The storm has been building for the last couple of hours. The sky has slowly turned from blue to grey, darkening as clouds gathered, the ominous rumble of thunder ㅡ and then with a crack of lightning, it begins to rain.

Scott can hear it on the roof of the mansion, the heavy drum of it as it soaks everything outside. The mansion is quiet for once ㅡ or quieter, at least. A rare day where they can all almost relax ㅡhe isn't about to complain about that, not when it gives him ample reason and time to go seek his partner out. He finds them over by one of the many windows that overlook the sprawl of property, seemingly watching the maelstrom outside.

"It's really coming down now," he remarks as he steps to their side, arm sliding around their waist with affection that's just as easy as breathing to him. He can't help but tease, however, as he arches an eyebrow and offers a taunt of, "Don't tell me you're afraid of a little thunder."
