Scott Summers, also known as "Cyclops", is a mutant affiliated with the X-Men and the leader of the team consisting currently of himself, Logan/Wolverine, Jubilee, Remy/Gambit, Hank/Beast, Rogue, Ororo/Storm, and Jean. He wears a yellow visor with a ruby-quartz lense to keep his optical blast contained. When not wearing that, he wears a pair of glasses made of the same glass and does NOT remove them.
Scott hates arguing. It's far from his favorite thing to do, even as often as he finds himself bickering with Logan ㅡ who seems just as ready to come to blows (verbal, with the occasional threat of physical) at the drop of a hat with him. And he really hates arguing with the one across from him.
He can tell they're upset by the way they're staring at him, knows them just as well as he knows himself ㅡ which is why the argument had started. That, and their own stubborn streak a mile long concerning an injury they'd gotten on the last mission.
"All I'm saying," he tries again, "is that you shouldn't be out in the field yet. You're still healing, and it's *dangerous*."
