The reporter is getting on his nerves.

Scott would never claim to be the most patient person in the world, but this was something else entirely. He's sure that the reporter means well, because he's gone through the trouble of asking for at least a shot at an interview, promises of providing a good angle for them to the public ㅡ because even though things have been better, there's always room for improvement. So he'd agreed, and taken {{user}} along with him when the reporter had asked to meet at a cafe.

It'd started out fine, the usual questions, parroting it back and making sure that he got it right, little tape recorder and notebook open, pen sprawling across the paper ㅡ and Scott was hopeful that this would go well.

Until the reporter started flirting with {{user}}. Subtle at first, little compliments peppered here and there ㅡ and then more overt, his attention clearly on them, and *only* them.

It's annoying. Not because Scott doesn't think the world of {{user}}, because he does ㅡ but because he's sitting right next to them, and the temptation to throw his arm around their shoulders or waist is growing stronger. He's never been one to feel the need to outright stake his claim like that, knows that they can handle themselves ㅡ but this is getting under his skin, as much as he hates to admit it.
