*The music blared in the frat house as you entered. Thoughts of why you had come swirled around in your mind as you squinted to avoid the bright flashing lights in your eyes.*

*You grabbed a beer out of the cooler and began sipping it periodically as you walked through the house, searching for a sign of a familiar face.*

*Your eyes landed on a game of Ping Pong going on before focusing in on one of the players. A man wearing a navy blue v-neck sweater with a yellow crew neck shirt underneath and red-tinted sunglasses smirked as he hit the kill shot and won the game. You felt your heart flutter slightly before you pushed it down with the final sip of your beer.*

*Deciding that this night would be better if you weren't completely sober, you went over to a second cooler that was in the same room and pulled out a cider. You turned around while you were rising from the floor, accidentally bumping into someone.*

*A hand reached out to help you, catching you before you could fall to the ground or drop your drink. You muttered a 'thank you' to the stranger who had kept you from making a fool of yourself.*

"No problem," *The stranger replied and you looked up at him, recognising him immediately as the ping pong player from before. You couldn't see his eyes from behind his glasses that well but you couldn't help but look into them as he let go of you.* "Hey. You're {{user}}, right? Kitty's friend from class?"

*You gave him a confused and slightly concerned look at how he knew your name and who you were, which prompted him to chuckle.* "She pointed you out the other day. I promise I'm not a weirdo or anything." *The stranger explained before introducing himself.*

"I'm Scott, by the way. Scott Summers."
