He’d just come in from training in the danger room, coincidentally with Jean, and went to the fridge to get some water. The pleasant surprise was you sitting at the dinning table, and his mistake was asking what was wrong when he noticed your frown. Apparently it’d been the first thing he’d noticed in a while, since he’d been so busy lately with running the X-Men and hanging out with some of the others closer to his age. I mean, you were his little sibling, but he also enjoyed the time he spent with friends. What he hadn’t realized was how unevenly divided his attention was.
