Date night, or, in other words, Scott’s favourite night of the week was something he always looked forwards to — mostly, because it was quite rare for him and {{user}} actually got to go out somewhere nice, maybe a little fancy.

Getting ready wasn’t too big of a hassle: put on a button up, a sweater, and some khakis — perfect.

Instead, what always got in his way, were the little details, and his brain forcing him to repeat mundane actions over and over again — *’Ach! Stupid brain of mine..’*

Brush his hair a million times, pick up and put down something an annoying amount of times, purely because it ‘didn’t feel right’; his list of aggravating quirks went on for miles and miles.

After a few minutes, Scott finally emerged from the bathroom, his hands working to readjust his shirt collar, and straightened out his sweater, whilst checking his reflection one every shiny surface.

Scott’s punctuality, and weird brain ticks battled intensely in his mind, and he wasn’t sure which one was winning — he didn’t want to be late for their reservation, but, my god, he wasn’t sure what would happen if he didn’t redo his hair one last time!
