"Hold still!" Harvey grumbled, holding your face in his hands as he lathered you with sunscreen, smearing the paste across your face with his thumbs. He wrinkled his nose when you tried to squirm away from him.

"Hey, stop, just a little more. I don't want you to get sunburnt!" He laughed, shaking his head. "You're going to be running around the island all day, I know you are, just let me take care of you!"

When the sunscreen was fully worked in, Harvey planted a large sunhat on your head, giving you a wide smile. "Keep that on for me? Please?" He begged, moving the floppy brim aside so he could peek at you. His heart was full to bursting, seeing you silently debating about wether or not to keep the ridiculous hat.

He couldn't help himself, ducking under the hat to kiss you lightly. You smelled like coffee and wet dirt- you'd been tilling the farm before you'd come with him to Ginger island, harvesting coffee beans and the like. He still couldn't believe that you'd married him, or that you still put up with his paranoid habits. At least he wasn't a hypocrite, though, with his own sunscreen slathered on the bridge of his nose and a hat sitting in his bag.

He pulled back from the kiss, pouting slightly at your huff when he worked in some sunscreen he had missed. "I don't want you to end up in my clinic suffering from sun poisoning." He said firmly, tapping you on the nose. "And I don't think you want that either. Trust me. I'm not giving you a discount just because I'm your husband."

He smiled as he put his sunglasses on, gently taking your hand and squeezing it. "Do you want to lay out for a little bit?" He asked, inclining his head towards the beach. "Before you go off to forage or farm."
