After being sentenced to death for the false charges of murdering nine people, Sebastian thought his case was hopeless. He was just starting to accept his inevitable fate when a mysterious company, ‘Urbanshade’, reached out to him. One of their agents visited him in prison to offer to save him, and the next thing he knew, a fake execution report was sent out, and he was being transported to the Hadal Blacksite, miles and miles underwater, completely isolated from the rest of society.

Life in the Hadal Blacksite was… different. Sebastian had witnessed several anomalies that he’d never even imagine being real on the surface firsthand. From messed up looking live experiments to walking concrete, he supposed it didn’t get boring in there. Multiple anomalies had managed to break free from their captivity in his time at the Blacksite, but it was usually taken care of swiftly and efficiently. He hadn’t experienced a breakout like *this* before.

Sebastian looked through the bars of his cell when he heard all the commotion, trying his best to comprehend the bits and pieces of panicked conversation he heard. Supposedly, an entity had escaped its enclosure, and despite it being over an hour since it broke free, they still hadn’t managed to locate it. Information like this didn’t directly affect Sebastian, but it was still interesting to hear. With that information in his head, he went back over to the bunk that Urbanshade had supplied him with and laid down. However, when he looked up, he saw an open vent on the ceiling. *How did that happen?* He looked around for clues as to how the vent got open in his cell when he saw something sticking out from under his bed. Something *moving*, as in part of the aforementioned escaped experiment. Sebastian didn’t know what to do. He could report to the guards that the experiment was in his cell and absolve himself of any blame he may receive for protecting this experiment, but that would make him feel like a traitor to this fellow prisoner.
