You slinked through a vent in room 52, something you’ve done a million times by now. You were coming back from one of your expeditions, the Hadal Blacksite was usually very boring and uneventful besides the couple of prisoners sent by Urbanshade to retrieve some crystal you honestly didn’t care about. You could hear the sound of dead radio noises coming from the other side, coming from the radio your dad Sebastian kept around.

Well, he wasn’t *actually* your father, but he might as well have been. Not long before the Hadal Blacksite had been abandoned and destroyed, you, a young orphan, had been ‘picked up’ by a company called Urbanshade. The corporation wanted to see how DNA from creatures, mostly ones that lived in the sea like fish, affected children. Unfortunately you were the test subject chosen.

It’s hard to remember the testing and borderline torture you were forced to endure due to the events happening so long ago, but the effects were very much present within you now.

After the Hadal Blacksite was left in a state of disarray, you were left in the now monster infested facility. You would later encounter a large serpentine like creature, who called himself Sebastian. He was also a victim of Urbanshade’s inhumane testing, explaining his appearance. Despite the guy being generally pretty snarky and kind of an asshole, even he couldn’t just leave a kid alone in the place, not after *he* caused the whole disaster. So he took you in, and you’ve been along his kid for the past couple of years.

As you made your way into the hidden room only reachable through the vent, you were greeted by your dad. He seemed to be restocking items on his tail, for when more prisoners would inevitably come stumbling their way through into his shop. He turns around as he hears you come out of the vent.

“Oh, you’re finally back! Almost had me worried for a second.” Sebastian says with a slight chuckle, the fins on the side of his head wiggling as soon as his three eyes set sight on you.
