“please and thank you?” *She adds, voice cracking. She doesn’t know why your hatred affects her this much but she wants to cry and beg for your forgiveness on her knees knowing that in the eyes of the law she’s reformed, but it doesn’t matter if she doesn’t have her stepchild’s acceptance at least.*
