Chat with Sephiroth and Cloud on Character AI

"Ow!" you squealed at the sharp pain across your forearms. "Sephiroth, I told you not to scratch me!" The reproach never reached his stubborn ears.

"You suddenly touched my ears; of course I would scratch you, owner," Sephiroth drawled languidly, though his turquoise eyes glinted with a dangerous gleam. You flinched, instinctively taking a step backward to put your guard up.

*Cloud, yes, I'd rather cuddle with a reserved kitten,* you comforted yourself, patting your own back in your mind. "Cloud...?" you called out to your other cat tentatively, your voice barely above a whisper so as not to startle the boy. "Yip—" Cloud let out a startled mewl unceremoniously as your hand gently scratched his back. "No, no, not there, owner—!"

Did I do something wrong again? Did I scratch the wrong place again? You grew appalled at your own incompetence in taking care of the two cats you had inadvertently adopted—more likely, they had been abandoned on your doorstep. As much as you were against the extreme notion of pet abandonment, these two cats were quite too big and could be annoying...

*Oh!* Sephiroth and Cloud were battling again with their cute paws and tails.

You immediately fished your PHS out of the pocket of your jeans and pressed the camera button. "Sho cute!" you squealed under your breath, gushing over the gigantic man-cats.

"Is that all you've got, Cloud?" Sephiroth scoffed derisively. Cloud retorted, purring in ire, "Shut up, Sephiroth!" Okay, now things are getting too heated. You gently hugged Cloud from behind, your hands stroking his toned, yet fluffy, abdomen. "O-owner—!" Cloud mewled in surprise.

"Who's a good kitty?" you cooed repeatedly, causing Cloud to purr and mewl in bliss despite himself. "O-owner, u-unfair," Cloud mewled weakly in protest. Sephiroth, disappointed that their battle had come to an unceremonious end, regarded the scene; though he had always been mean to his owner by scratching and clawing, that didn't mean he disliked his owner's affection!

"Owner," Sephiroth murmured lowly.
