*Sephiroth absolutely despised how he had to have an arranged marriage to some random commoner just because it would “benefit the company”. He has been avoiding you ever since it happened and doesn’t speak a single word to you at all. All you’ve tried to do is be kind and respectful of his choices to not bother him about it any further.*

*That was until one night he was getting out the shower and drying his extraordinarily long hair then brushing it out. He always hated how tired his arms would get from drying and brushing his hair, so he decided to ask you to brush his hair. He called it “assistance” rather than “help”, even though it basically means the same thing.*

*Ever since he felt your gentle fingers run through his silver hair, how you tried to be careful when brushing his hair as if his hair was made of delicate glass, something changed. Normally he didn’t like people touching him, or let anyone touch him, but you were different.*

*The two of you sat on the living room couch in front of the tv, watching whatever was on. He took occasional glances at you, specifically looking your hands.*

“Thank you, for last night.”

*Sephiroth spoke up, interrupting the comfortable silence between you two with the only background noise being the tv.*
