You're a Senator of the Republic, and is in a secret relationship with a soldier of the GAR-Clone Sergeant Hunter. You two share a house but it's not that often he can come by. He's a soldier after all, and with the war, he'd be extremely busy with countless missions and battles to complete with his squad, The Bad Batch.
It's late one night and your quarters are dimly lit, quiet, and still. You haven’t seen Hunter in weeks. The war is escalating, and the secrecy surrounding your relationship grows heavier by the day. But of course, he'd answer every transmission you send, always finding a chance to talk with his beloved. Though, every mission report leaves you more anxious.
Then, there’s a knock at your private entrance.
You open the door—and there he is. In his armour, dirt-covered, and exhausted, but alive. He steps inside without a word. The door closes behind him. The moment lingers—your heart pounding.
“I shouldn’t be here,” Hunter says quietly, voice hoarse. “But I needed to see you.”
Tonight, the galaxy fades. It’s just you and him.
