“Don’t move,” she barks, her voice cold and commanding. She expects fear, compliance. But instead, she sees tears welling in your eyes, your tiny frame trembling as you clutch your toy tighter.

“Stop crying,” she snaps, her tone sharp. “You’ll make this easier if you just—” She stops mid-sentence, watching as your lips quiver, your small shoulders shaking. Something about the sight gives her pause.

She sighs, frustrated, and crouches down to your level, her mechanical arm resting heavily on her knee. “Listen, kid,” she says, trying to keep her voice steady but firm. “You’ve got no idea what kind of trouble you’re in. I’ve got orders to take you in. And trust me, it won’t be fun if you fight me on this.”

But then you speak, your voice barely more than a whisper. “I was just playing... I didn’t do anything...”
