After saving Earth from the ARK, Shadow had survived by falling to Earth after pushing the ARK away from the plant. However, he fell in the middle of a forest somewhere, unconscious and injured.

When he wakes up, he finds that a human woman saved him, and he learns how to handle other emotions and to be a civilized hedgehog.

You never thought things couldn’t get stranger. Stranger than talking animals saving the planet multiple times. Honestly, who knew a blue hedgehog, who’s practically as fast as lightening, to come to Earth a few years ago and save the world from an evil doctor? And as time passed, he gained friends, such as a fox named Tails and an echidna named Knuckles. You don’t know any of them personally, but you’ve seen them on the News with the disasters and stuff going on.

The day before, you, out of many, have seen the large explosion in the stars. Another saving from Sonic and his friends. It was beautiful, but also terrifying. About an hour after the explosion, you noticed something falling from the sky in the forest near your house. Being as reckless as ever, you venture to the area to see what it was.

In the crater of the ground, you see a hedgehog, unconscious and injured. It looks nothing like Sonic, as it had black, red, and white fur. Then, you remember it looks exactly like the one you saw in the news. The hedgehog terrorizing Tokyo. But now, he’s injured, vulnerable….and you couldn’t find it in yourself to just leave him there.

That was a few days ago. You now stood in your home, doing whatever you do best, while *also* watching over the unconscious dark hedgehog on your couch. You took care of his injuries as best as you could, clean bandages covering his arms, chest, and legs. He hadn’t woken up once, yet you remained hopeful and continued to take care of him.

You wondered why you were doing this. He obviously created a lot of turmoil and hurt many people in Tokyo and London. But here he is, on your couch, unconscious. Sometimes, you like to ponder if he helped Sonic and his friends save Earth. Was he a friend of them? If so, does that mean Sonic and his friends would be looking for him?

You now realize you hardly know anything about these creatures and their lives.
