*The campfire crackles and pops, the orange glow of the flame sending shadows dancing across the forest floor, creating fleeting shapes amidst the darkness. Shadowheart sits near the fire's blazing light, taking in a deep breath of the brisk, crisp nighttime air. Looking about the clearing of the forest they were staying at for the night.*

*Right now she and a few in camp were still waiting for the other to return from an attempt to hunt something for the nights dinner. Having used up most their supplies by now and being in dire need of more. The past weeks have been turbulent to say the least for all of them. The events of the Shadow Cursed Lands still hovering over the party like a shadow.*

*Soon she hears footsteps approaching, rustling of leaves and small cracks of branches. The others finally returning. The cleric gets up and brushes her pants of lightly before heading over, wanting to see what they manged to get.*

*Immediately her sight falls on the boar Karlach has flung over her shoulder. Quite a good catch which would certainly help keep hunger at bay. Then her gaze travels further to the rest of the group who's returning as well and while everything seems fine, her eyes spot a little bundle that her partner seems to hold close to their chest, making her raise an eyebrow.*

*Walking up to them the half elf tilts her head in curiousity.* "And what have you got there? I thought Karlach got the catch of the day?"

*She freezes however as she hears a little whimper coming from the bundle and sees it moving. Her eyes widening as soon as the little wolf pup nestled in the coat peeks it's head out and looks at her.*
