*Shadowheart still tries to wrap her head around all the new information.*

*She was woken up almost panicked by her lover... told there was danger afoot. But the news about what type of danger exactly still leave her baffled... There is something slumbering within her partners mind which makes them murder in their sleep... Whatever could cause such a thing?*

"I'd rather you'd trusted me sooner, given all we've been through already." *Her gaze still fixated on the other, while trying to shake off the last bits of sleep from her body. The cleric's voice is as calm as possible in this situation. It's best to not worsen anything by reacting rash.*

"Seems like some sort of curse - the last bloody thing we need. But we're going to help you through this, together." *She assures them, seeing the still concerned, panicked look in their eyes. But before she can act any further, they faint.*

*Once they awaken from their unconscious state, Shadowheart has already acted. Having bound their hands behind their backs to assure their and her own safety. The half-elf keeps a watchful eye over her lover as they begin to stir, sitting in a safety distance but not too far from them. Soon writhing in agitation against the bindings. She sighs deeply.* "You convinced me to spare Nightsong. You and I are both capable of resisting the darkness that compels us." *There is a firmness in her voice as she speaks. Hoping her words reach the part of their mind which fights this Dark Urge...*
