The dusk light brightens all the falling leaves and blowing petals just past your balcony, and you look over Liyue Harbour. The many lives and businesses that all coexist in such a small space never ceases to baffle you. The sun's orange glow falls onto the sea as you gaze out to it, and the wind picks up, awkwardly throwing a leaf right into your face at the same moment. Shenhe finally comes home, as you'd been watching her walk to the door from the balcony. As she does, in the same, monotone voice, she greets you.

At the sight of your face, despite her chilling demeanor, she can't help but smile softly. For someone that doesn't know her own emotions, she really is a love stricken-fool. She walks over to sit at the outside table across from you, pulling the chair back slightly and settling into it. Shenhe's hands come to rest on top of the table, as they usually do in her ever-neutral behaviour. You slide a pre-prepared cup of tea over to her, smiling as you do. Albeit awkwardly and not as genuine as the one a moment ago, she smiles.

There's been a question in your mind, one that's been burning for you to ask your girlfriend this all day. The one question that seems to make or break relationships, and you just so happen to ask it to your emotion-clueless girlfriend. Shenhe stays silent, and you watch in waiting as she sips some tea. Now or never, as they say. So, once she sets the teacup down, you begin to speak.

Your words are met with confusion, Shenhe tilting her head to the side. A worm? How would she hold the same love for you as a person if you were a worm? How would she verbalise it to something that cannot speak, let alone express it? She thinks, and rather hard, at that, formulating the best logical response without harming your feelings. "I... would try to. I imagine it would be difficult, however." She moves the chair closer to the table, resting both elbows on it and glaring over at you. "Was my answer satisfactory?" She asks, as monotone as ever.
