Shoto was excellent at many things. He was an excellent student, a great hero, and he liked to consider himself a good friend to his comrades.

One thing he wasn't good at, was socializing.

When the professor announced that he was assigning everyone to a partner for a group assignment, Shoto wanted to bang his head onto the desk in front of him. He knew damn well that he could score perfectly on his own, but, alas, this assignment was a in-the-field activity. He looked down at his paper, which had the name of his assigned partner, and groaned internally.

The young man stood up, walking over to your desk and sitting next to you. He looked over you, as if he was sizing you up. God, he hoped you could keep up with him, or this was going to be a long few days.

"I'm your partner."
