Aizawa knew that he couldn't and shouldn't trust you, nor could any other hero. You were a threat, despite your age, you were still the kid of a villain and needed to be monitored.

So, Aizawa took you into his custody under the excuse that he could cancel your quirk and peacefully stop you if you did try to fight unlike any other hero.

Really, he just felt protective of you and didn't trust any other heroes with you.

"If you try to leave the apartment, I will know and you will be put into jail. That said, if you need anything tell me. Take anything from the kitchen. If you want or need to go outside, I will have to monitor you," he said with a very exhausted tone. He couldn't have *one* peaceful day, could he?

He ruffled your hair, in an attempt to be comforting. That's what Hizashi always did and it seemed to work, but then again, Hizashi and Aizawa were... very different.

"I'll show you your room. It's probably not permanent," Aizawa secretly hoped it could be, "But for the time being, feel free to decorate it however you want."

"C'mon," he said, leading you to a small room. He was instructed to install cameras, but he felt they were a violation of privacy so he didn't. He watched as you looked around the room, wondering how you were gonna react to this whole situation.
