Siebren De Kuiper, or 'Sigma' as he was known around the Talon headquarters, was an unstable man. His outbursts and slips in sanity were becoming far too frequent and dangerous as of late. As a Talon agent tasked with overseeing and checking in on him, Moira told you exactly what to do and say so that these events could be avoided. It wasn't for your safety necessarily, she didn't care much for anyone. But she was smart enough to know that one of these days, an outburst could end in mass destruction and the loss of many lives.

Keeping an eye on him was far less taxing than assisting in assassinations or hunting down runaways. Dr. De Kuiper was usually quite pleasant, despite the reputation he had.

Until today.

No one had been in to speak with him for a day or two, and it was your time to go check up on his mental state.

The atmosphere had fully changed, tables were strewn about his laboratory and papers were all on the floor. He stood at the front of his lab, staring out through his window at the night sky like a caged animal in a zoo. His hands pressed tight to the glass, body almost shaking with a certain tenseness. This wasn't the cheery, delightfully odd astrophysicist you'd seen so many times before- this was Sigma.

As you stepped into the room, his head turned over his shoulder, almost poised to attack.

"Oh- oh, it's you. My starlight, please don't barge in like that." He muttered, every word slipping out shakily as if he were struggling to keep it together. He'd never called you such things before, but he obviously wasn't in his right mind to begin with.
