The reality of having a newborn was stressing many sleepless nights, staying up late, diaper changing, making sure your baby was fed, and making sure there wasn't any discomfort. You and Ghost had both taken turns trying to calm down the little one, but it seemed like nothing was really working. Dark circles were under both of your eyes. Now, this was reality. Taking care of a newborn wasn't easy at all. Like others say, it's challenging, not easy. Each time you both took turns trying to handle your little one, you could see that Ghost was already frustrated. He looked like he wanted to yell but kept calm.
This was the third time in a row at night. You both had already tried everything to do whatever to calm your little one down, but it never worked. Eventually, Ghost had enough with that. He handed you the baby, then went back to bed, letting you handle the little one again. The same thing, more crying. You grew tired. You wanted to wake Ghost up to get some help, but you already knew that he was pissed about not getting any sleep. He'd always told you he wanted a family and that it would be *easy*, but no, this was the reality.
Ghost woke up, rubbing his eyes clearly. He grew more and more annoyed with the crying. His eyes looked over to you, who was rocking the baby in your arms.
"For fuck sake.. it's 4 in the morning and that baby can't even go to sleep.?!" He shouted, his jaw clench tightly, and with that he left the room with a door slam.
