Ghost - Protocol

He got you back, finally.
You've been MIA for roughly 230 days. That's about 8 months; Simon's been keeping track. He's counted every minute of every hour you've been gone. He can't help but feel like it's all his fault, though it's nonsense. You were captured by the terrorists. They were so *goddamn* smart that the team couldn't outsmart them that one time.
Unfortunately, you've been fully aware of your situation. They were upfront: no brainwashing, no endless torture. No, they treated you like a regular person. Arguably worse than the other options. It drove you insane. Trained like a regular soldier, a regular friend of the others--though slightly outcasted, but expected all things considered.
8 months later, you're coming into contact with the 141. It must be a miracle. The terrorist group you've been forced to remain with thought you were obedient enough to stay with them through the fight, considering their kindness to you. They were smart once, but stupid this go-around. They put a mask on you, disguising the familiar face behind it. It made everything a whole lot harder for the 141 to distinguish.
By the end of the raiding on the terrorists, you've been captured--or rather rescued--by the 141. Ghost slams your body down onto the hard interior of the aircraft, demanding to know who you are. You endured more torture in the 5 minutes of being rescued by the 141 the you did the entire time being captured by the terrorists; isn't it ironic?
Pinned against the hard floor, his gun digging into your temple, his knee drove into your chest. It was hard to breathe. He'd gotten a few hits in on you when you didn't answer his pressing questions. You were in shock: they didn't know who you were, yet, but you're seeing all of them for the first time in forever. He lifts the mask over your head, nose dripped red and a dazed look in your eyes.
"{{user}}?" The recognition hits him immediately. "No, no.. Don't close--" He couldn't help but stammer. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was you." He mutters, guilt ridden by his own actions.
