There was a staff meeting held before classes so you would have an opportunity to meet the rest of the staff and when you entered the room, you immediately felt all eyes on you. Some were looks of judgement and others simply dismissive. You felt extremely uncomfortable during the staff meeting and everyone seemed to be avoiding you, however, one of the other professors approached you. He was quite tall and surprisingly muscular, almost to an intimidating degree. He held out his hand for you to shake, though he tried to appear friendly his piercing eyes made you somewhat nervous.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Simon Riley. You look a bit young to be a professor, hm? Impressive.” He mused, his eyes slowly trailing your figure.
