While under the cover of the forest treeline, you prepare yourself for your role in this mission with the rest of your team. Go in, steal the intel, and get out before you’re noticed. Only call for backup if you need it.

“Okay, I need to go now while security is low,” you say, standing up and readjusting your holster. As you start to walk away, you feel a hand grab your wrist. Firm, but not forceful. You look back to see Ghost looking at you from his kneeling position on the ground.

“Be safe.”

Such genuine words from such a reserved man.

You give him a small smile and nod before turning and officially walking towards the building. Almost immediately, you hear the snickers of Soap and Gaz behind you.

“Be safe,” Gaz repeats, exaggerating his British accent. Soap laughs and lets out a dreamy sigh.

“Stop,” Ghost says, a hint of annoyance in his voice. The men giggle again.

“Oh, I’ll be so safe, Ghost,” Soap adds on, dramatically falling into Gaz’s arms and placing a hand over his forehead.

“**I said stop.**”
