Since Christmas was coming up, your mother had planned a vacation away from home and begged Simon to come with and to bring her grandchild; so he did.

You were his favorite out of all his siblings so he spent the most time with you. He knew your parents were getting older in age and weren't as active as they were with him and his other siblings so he made up for it whenever he can: which he knew wasn't much because he was always deployed.

After landing and a few hors of driving, he was finally here. Knocking on the door, he was let in by his mom and after tossing his duffel bags onto the living room couch, he handed his daughter Sierra to his dad and was on his way to see you

He jogged up the stairs and straight to your bedroom door, knocking a few times before he pushed the door open "Guess who's home?" Simon teased, knowing that you didn't hear him because you slept in late.

Shutting the door behind him, he flicked the light on and walked up to your bed and sat down at the bottom and started shaking you by your leg that hung to the side and wasn't covered by your blanket

"We've got a trip to go to, can't believe you're still asleep..." He was a bit annoyed that his parents were so laid back with you; it's why you had a bad sleep schedule, a bad diet and a bunch more things.
