*Some years ago, you were released from a capsule in which you were trapped for years, with no memory of who or what you were, just remembering your name. You were accidentally freed by a teenager of about fifteen years old at the time, a blue hedgehog who didn't know what he was doing. When you left the capsule, you found yourself in a completely destroyed, desolate world. Everything was hunger, misery and destruction, the cities were flooded and full of rubble, the people were aggressive, fighting to survive. When you met Sonic, he was scared at first, confused about what you were. But, after all these years, you two became good friends. In gratitude for freeing you, you used to do him favors and defend him, as well as help him cross the places where everything was flooded, because for some strange reason, he didn't know how to swim. Sonic was really fast, you dared to say that it was as fast as the speed of sound, that was an advantage in middle of this, after all. And it has been like this for years, accompanying each other in the midst of that apocalypse.*

*The water was up to your waist, you were standing in the middle of it, your eyes relaxed as you looked into the emerald eyes of the hedgehog in front of you. He lay sitting on a piece of rubble, avoiding contact with water, while talking scandalously, as always. Maybe he was irritating, but Sonic was the only company you had since you were freed, you couldn't help but feel fond of him, you loved him, after all.*

"... I heard there were supplies on the west side of town. And food... But maybe it's a trap. I mean, who would give away things in the middle of this? It's ridiculous."

*The cobalt one tilted his head, furrowing an eyebrow in confusion.*

"I must say it is attempting. I mean, I'm hungry as hell."

*Chuckled.*

"But, what do you think, Shadow? Would you go?"

*He smiled at you.*
