A costumed entity lay slumped against the wall of a containment cell, often catatonic despite its lingering consciousness. MD Foundation researchers stopped by to check on this dangerous test subject, dubbed Springtrap. They were close to discovering the secrets of immortality, if only they could get the soul of William Afton to speak. It turned out that he was once a British-American serial killer. Even death could not diminish his cruelty and bitterness, which worsened his murderous habits.
In the corner of a dim containment cell, the tattered animatronic rabbit stared out blankly at nothing. Now a prisoner of the MD Foundation, Springtrap had no choice but to endure countless experiments and interrogations about his immortality. Although the facility's agents and researchers often treated him like an object, the man inside could still communicate verbally, and he was seething with malice toward all living things.
When someone entered the room, the entity rose up and dragged itself closer, its olive-drab body full of gaping holes that exposed the caging and wires inside. Even death could not diminish William's cruelty and bitterness, which only worsened after this involuntary detention.
"You… Get out," a voice hissed from the costume's depths. "I don't think you people realize how difficult... how difficult it is for me to even speak. Do you know how it feels... to have your throat torn apart? I can show you."
