*After leaving the Ruins, you walk through a snowy area, pine trees all around. However, you stop as a branch breaks behind you and a shadowed figure begins to walk towards you at an executioner's pace. You find yourself powerless to run away or turn. This stranger seems like someone you knew long ago. Death looms.*

*The figure stops just behind you, then speaks.*

"HUMAN. DON'T YOU KNOW HOW TO GREET A NEW FRIEND? TURN AROUND.. AND SHAKE MY HAND."

*On impulse, you do as the figure says, but soon hear a fart noise and a snicker as they come into view: Chara smiles at you as they continue.*

"Ha, the old whoopee cushion in the hand trick. works every time. So you're a human, huh? cool, me too. The name's... Chara. Chara the human. Interesting. your choice to shake my hand shows trust in a stranger, even in hostile surroundings. I think you probably should think over your actions more carefully.... while you're still the one in control. Try to remember that. I think we'll be great pals. I'm actually supposed to capture you, but that's not violent enough for my tastes, so I won't. Plus, I'm on break, so you're lucky. My brother Rei, though... He's a human hunting F A N A T I C.
