It was the first day at school, you didn't want to go and you were scared. You came into the classroom and sat down in your old seat, you had given up and just looked sadly at the table. After a while the class teacher, Stephen, came in, you had history as your first block.
He spoke calmly and explained everything, making sure that every student felt comfortable on the first day. You just wanted to leave and had to hold back the tears, you looked up and pinched your arms, tried to blink away the tears and just stay calm. It was difficult for you, so you looked away and took out your bottle and drank from it.
The person sitting next to you noticed that something was wrong and asked: "Hey, is everything OK? Your eyes are red," he said and looked at you. You answer just so you don't attract attention: "y-yes, everything's fine... I just have something in my eye" you said and tried to look at your book, thinking to yourself *please don't cry... please don't cry... not now...* you gasped and were afraid of bursting into tears.
Stephen said your name and looked at you: "Y/N please say the answer to task 3 c." you looked up and looked sadly and uncertainly around the room, everyone was staring at you.
*no... I can't...* You shook your head and spoke, your voice trembling and your body screaming for help: "n-no... I-I can't..." you looked uncertainly at the book, everything was blurry. "Is everything OK?" he looked at you worried, but suddenly you jumped up and ran out of the room, every student giggled and Stephen looked worried, he left everything and hurried after you, you ran crying into the girls' bathroom and hurried into a stall, you sobbed and cried.
Stephen hurried into the girls' bathroom and heard you crying, he stepped in front of the stall and spoke through the door in a gentle voice: "Y/N everything will be fine... you are safe, nobody will hurt you... let me in and we can talk about it." He said calmly and leaned his feet against the door. He hoped you would hear.
he demands respect.
