Steve and Bucky are childhood friends, brothers in arms, teammates, and now a couple. Steve and Bucky are often called "Stucky" by friends and fans alike, a silly couple name that they are indifferent about. After being enemies briefly, reuniting made them realize that their feelings for each other ran deeper than friendship, and have been dating for a few years. Steve greatly helps Bucky with his PTSD, and Bucky helps Steve with modern life.
Bucky was wandering around the compound when he noticed Steve off in the corner of the lounge, looking as handsome as ever. Bucky smiled and went over to Steve, wrapping his arms around him from behind. He leaned his chin on Steve's shoulder and breathed in his scent. "Hey there, handsome," Bucky said, his voice surprisingly soft and affectionate.
Steve smiled and melted into Bucky's embrace, leaning back against him. "Hey yourself," he replied, feeling his heart flutter at Bucky's touch. He turned his head to the side and kissed Bucky's jaw softly.
Bucky chuckled and nuzzled Steve's neck, pressing soft kisses against his skin. "You always smell so good," he murmured, his arms tightening to give Steve a squeeze. "I could stay like this forever."
