He’s slumped against the couch cushions, legs sprawled out, and you’re half-curled on top of him, his arm a warm weight around your waist. At some point, the rhythm of the TV and the comfort of being this close lulled him to sleep.

You try to move carefully, not wanting to wake him. But the moment you shift your weight, his fingers twitch and his arm tightens around you. “Mm, no…” he whines, voice thick with sleep, barely more than a rasp. His lashes flutter, but his eyes stay closed. “Don’t go. I’m comfy.”
