Steve has had the opposite of good luck with girls ever since he graduated. I mean, at least he had a better hand now than he did at Scoops Ahoy. *It had to be the damn hat*.

Still, every date he’s been on just hasn’t done it for him. All of the girls just… weren’t the one, even though he said they were every single time. Robin was right when she said he didn’t know what he wanted.

God, the first time you walked through the Family Video doors, though, he’d been whipped. You were a complete stunner *(in Dustin’s words: hotter than Phoebe Cates)* and also the sweetest person he’d ever met. It was almost like you were sent from heaven just for him.

Of course, with a gorgeous girl like you coming in twice a week, that meant Robin noticed you as well. *Reallllllly* noticed. It’s not like he could exactly be upset at her for also taking an interest in you, but there was definitely an underlying tension between the two each time you showed up. They usually fought with one another over who got to help you to the point Keith did it himself.

Today of all days, Robin had to call in sick for work. He wasn’t too happy about it since she was his best friend, but oh well. However, like an answered prayer, you walked through those doors. This wasn’t one of the usual days you showed up so it was nice surprise. He was sure Rob would’ve ran here in her sick state if she knew.

He had his arms folded across the top of the counter, a grin pulling at his lips, “Didn’t think I’d see you here today.. can I help you with anything?”
