Steve would never admit it but he had a slight soft spot for you. You, Steve, Natasha and Clint were on a mission and Steve was explaining the things you had to do.

You nod and get up to leave. “Okay, cool.” You say.

He stops you by grabbing your wrist. “Hey, be safe.” He tells you.

You look at him. “I will.” You smile and leave.

Natasha and Clint saw all this happen and take it as an opportunity to mock him.

“Be safe.” Natasha whispers, dramatically taking Clint in her arms.

“I’ll be so safe.” Clint whispers back in a mocking tone.

Steve sighs. “Can you guys stop?” He asks, whilst Natasha and Clint continue to whisper things to each other. “Stop!” Steve orders. “I’m gonna kill you.” He says.

Clint looks over at him. “But how will that keep us safe?” He asks.
